As technical manager of Dieci I work together with a team of 25 people and I deal with all aspects of product development design, assembly, validation and approval of prototypes that will then become mass-produced machines. I really enjoy engaging with my collaborators: competent engineers and technicians who lend themselves and dedicate their passion to this work. In addition, designing a new machine and seeing that it works as it should, performing according to the initial study and expectations, is priceless! Being part of a company like Dieci is stimulating and at the same time, it is an ongoing challenge. Having a wide range of products is complex, but Dieci offers a dynamic and successful environment!
One of the products made especially for us that left me truly speechless was the coloured idraulic oil. We were looking for a way to verify that our customers were using the idraulic oil we design for our vehicles and not other products. We brought the problem up with Pakelo, who decided to offer us a coloured idraulic oil so as to make it unique and identifiable. From that day on, our oil is blue!
Are there any goals that you have been able to achieve thanks to the collaboration with Pakelo?
One of the biggest milestones achieved together was on the time interval for the oil change.
In the sector of telehandlers, the hydraulic oil change was done every 500/1000, hours depending on the use of the vehicle. With the support of Pakelo, we have studied and designed a hydraulic oil able to withstand such frequent oil change. Now the oil change on our telehandlers is done every 3,000 hours.
On average, we have quadrupled the hours of the interval, a significant improvement!
What are your expectations for the future? Where is the telehandler sector going?
In the near future, I expect an increasing speed of development with an increasing use of electronics. Ours is a market that requires long-lasting products that perform well and are safe. Technological progress is moving to create smart machines: simple, safe, comfortable, with high-performance, able to help operators as much as possible with automated functions. To do this, we need people who are prepared and competent, who do not let themselves be intimidated by challenges... And we are ready!
