Jack Doohan, Trident's ace, rocks in Race 3

Le Castellet, June 20th 2021. The weekend ends with a good outcome for Italian team Trident Motorsport. Its talented F3 drivers conquered precious points that put the 18-year-old Australian Jack Doohan (son of the 5-times MotoGp champion Mick Doohan) at the 3rd place of the overall standing.

Le Castellet Circuit is a very fast track, 5,842km long, in the heart of Provence in France. The venue entered FIA Formula 3 official calendar in 2019. In Race 1 and Race 2 Doohan and his teammate Novalak stood out of the crowd, but it is in Race 3 that Doohan gifted us with a stunning comeback under a pouring rain to the detriment of Dannis Hauger (Team Prema), which was ma a solo eagle flight almost from the start, imposing his own pace to the race till Doohan's overtaking. This victory is very important for the Gold Coast driver and it accomplishes to restore confidence after a not so satisfying F3 rookie year which Doohan had in 2020 with HWA RaceLab Team.

P5 for Clément Novalak, the French young driver in his "homecircuit", which loses a few positions in the initial bagarre but eventually finds his own pace and keeps it till the end. Maybe the race was a bit more complex for Ralph Schumacher's son David, which concluded far from point zone. A comeback-race even for Italian Matteo Nannini of HWA RaceLab which recently assumed the effort to take part to F2 championship with Spanish team Campos Racing.

Third round will be next July 2nd-4th in Spielberg (Austria) at Red Bull Ring Circuit. Trident Motorsport which is now leading F3 Team standing is looking forward to playing, once again, a leading role.
